VETIVER

Binomial name: Chrysopogon zizanioides.
Origin: India, Java (Indonesia) and Ceylon.
Combines: Patchouli, Sandalwood, Lavender and mimosa.

The vetiver, originally from Southeast Asia, is the ingredient that gives cohesion and binds the rest of the fragrance scents. With a greenwoody, bitter and earthy smell that provides a refreshing note, vetiver oil is extracted for its harmonizing and enhancing effects that make the other ingredients better integrated.
